Electromechanical Integration Technology

The major of Electromechanical Integration Technology has been established since 1995. After more than 20 years of construction, it is now one of the key majors of Jiangsu Province during the 12th Five-Year Plan, Wuxi key construction majors and one of the key majors of JSIT.

This major services regional economic development, cooperates with Wuxi Metro Group, Fujian Fuyao Group and other well-known enterprises to build "Sanfeng Innovation Class", "Metro Innovation Class" and other innovative classes. Implementing the reform of the talent training mode of "dual-teacher co-education and combination of work and study", this major trains more than 250 graduates and more than 300 employees for the intelligent manufacturing industry in Jiangsu Province every year.The major leads the rate of first choice registration and employment in Jiangsu Province.

This program attaches great importance to the construction of professional courses and school-enterprise cooperation. It implements project-based teaching in the classroom and pays attention to the cultivation of students' practical operation ability. It has cooperated with Kunshan Bostar to develop Productive Practice and with Wuxi Xinjie and Zhejiang Yalong to develop Professional Comprehensive Practice and other 8 school-enterprise cooperation courses.Students have won great achievements in BRICS Competition, China Robot Competition, Jiangsu Higher Vocational College Electronmechanical, Automation Production Line Installation and Debugging, Modern Electrical Installation and Debugging Skills Competition, as well as the Chinese and Jiangsu College Students "Challenge Cup" Competition.

This major provides multiple channels for further study, including specialized training, specialized transfer, etc., for students to enhance their comprehensive quality and ability and enhance competitiveness to create a good environment. At the same time, this major keep actively overseas cooperation and exchanges with the international education agency, and send excellent students each semester to Taiwan Mingxin University of Science and Technology, Taiwan Daren University of Science and Technology, Canada Suan International School, Singapore Nanyang Polytechnic Institute, Germany Berlin Applied Science and Technology University, United States Heartland Community College, carrying out credits mutual recognition of learning activities. This major also recruited first group of international students in 2018.
